Colby obtained her Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary in 2014 and her Advanced certificate in Athletic Therapy at Mount Royal University in 2013. Colby has always been active in sports and enjoys working with a variety of clientele ranging from national level athletes to weekend warriors. The sports she has worked with include rugby, hockey, basketball, football, volleyball and wrestling.

In addition to working with sports teams she is very interested in broadening her knowledge about the human body and how it works, which is why she has recently started her studies at the Canadian School of Osteopathy-Manual Practice-Vancouver. Osteopathy as defined by the college is “A natural medicine which aims to restore function in the body by treating the causes of pain and imbalance. To achieve this goal the Osteopathic Manual Practitioner relies on the quality and finesse of his/her palpation and works with the position, mobility and quality of the tissues.”

Colby has an interest in treating a multitude of conditions with a special interest in treating low back pain.
