Tyler obtained his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a specialization in Athletic Therapy from Concordia University (Montreal, QC ) in 2012. In June of 2012 he completed the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association national exam becoming a Certified Athletic Therapist.

Owning and operating a clinic has always been a goal of Tyler's, thus he decided to open Fortitude Athletic & Sport Therapy.

The extensive treatment "toolbox" Tyler possesses is parallel to his success in the clinic. He continuously strives to expand his toolbox by taking continuing education courses, keeping up to date on new research and working closely with colleagues. He has utilised his skills with many teams and organisations from amateur to professional athletes including the following current and past organisations, teams and events:
• Basketball Canada National Championships
• Calgary Minor Soccer
• Calgary Minor Football
• Calgary Stampeders Football Club
• Cape Breton Screaming Eagles Hockey Club
• International Hockey Academy
• North West Calgary Athletic Association
• Pan-American Judo Championships (2015)
• Rugby (Premier to Division 3)

While sport related injuries are at the forefront of his clinical practice, Tyler also takes a special interest in chronic pain. Using a whole body approach, he has achieved success in treating patients with long-term chronic pain. 

Tyler currently sits on the Alberta Athletic Therapists Association Marketing and Ethics Committees. He further possesses training in Clinical Approaches in Concussion Management, and Functional Movement Systems.
